Constantly Serving Communities

  • Chicago
Across the greater Chicago area, compassion is at the heart of our volunteers’ service. At the beginning of each school year, our Chicago team comes together while mobilizing friends and family to fund and assemble hundreds of back-to-school kits. Filled with essential supplies like notebooks, pencils, scissors, and gluesticks, these kits are distributed to Title I schools throughout the city, giving local children the tools they need to thrive in the classroom. Our Chicago volunteers also recently joined forces to pack over 500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and donate over 1,000 pounds of food. These contributions were delivered to The Salvation Army, Crystal Lake Food Pantry, Veterans Path to Hope, Frida’s Place, and Elgin Cares—ensuring that vulnerable individuals across the city and surrounding communities have access to nourishing meals.
