  • Our volunteers are driven by a spiritual way of life which forms the base of our value system. Our belief in the power of love and non-violence is instrumental in ensuring that we reach out to all living beings spreading peace, happiness and security.
  • Our 10 Care programme is replicable and development driven based on sustainable models that can scale up to address gaps and holistically impact communities in a concrete manner.
  • We are a volunteer driven organisation. This helps keep our administration costs low and also allows us to channelise maximum of the financial resources towards the causes that we serve. This also brings in a high level of commitment and enthusiasm as the volunteers serve out of their free will and dedication.

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care is a part of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur. Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram is the International Headquarters of the Mission. It is a sanctified and vibrant Ashram located at Dharampur, Gujarat, with the primary purpose being to help seekers advance towards their goal of self-realisation. At the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram in Dharampur, spiritual workshops and Meditation Retreats are organised to help retain one’s focus on the spiritual path, being conducive to the journey within, to experience deeper levels of consciousness. At present, the Mission has 108 centres, 44 Youth group centres and 251 Divinetouch centres for children education worldwide, which play a key role in moulding and transforming thousands of lives.

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care is committed to bringing about a transformation in the lives of the underprivileged, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or geography. We are present in 50 cities across the globe and our volunteers have reached out to the underprivileged in these cities through initiatives specific to the needs. Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care is a spiritual organisation guided by the principles of Shrimad Rajchandraji, an Enlightened Being and the Spiritual Guide to Mahatma Gandhiji.

As evident from the scope of our 10 Care programme, our services see no caste, creed or discrimination on any religious grounds. Our love and care extends to all human beings and beyond it, to the animal and plant kingdom as well. Our principles of service stem from spirituality which sees no differences in any living beings and thereby, accords equal respect to one and all.

We receive grants and subsidies from the Central Government and Government of Gujarat through the Public Private Partnership mode for some of their schemes, namely:

  • Chiranjeevi Scheme
  • Bal Sakha Yojana
  • Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana Health Insurance Scheme
  • Assistance to Disabled Persons Scheme
  • Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA)
  • Arthik Protsahak Sahay Yojana

We do extend help to individual beneficiaries across the projects, on a need basis and on thorough evaluation at our end. Some of the examples include subsidised or free surgeries for patients at Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, educational loans to needy students, distribution of stationery items to school students at subsidised rates, saving an animal from slaughter etc. However, majority of our work is done for community development. In certain cases we may not be able to directly help an individual for eg a patient in Mumbai may require a heart transplant – while we can treat him for free in our hospital in Dharampur, in Mumbai we can only help him connect to another NGO who can take up his case.

Our projects and initiatives are global, with presence in several cities of India, USA, UK, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. However, our primary areas of operation are Dharampur and Kaprada in the Valsad district of South Gujarat, which rank amongst the poorest in the country. The rural and tribal population of this area suffers from high levels of poverty and illiteracy, besides having limited access to quality healthcare, education, social development and employment opportunities. Most of our institutions are located in the town of Dharampur in order to ensure the development of the local population.
