Constantly Serving Communities

  • Indianapolis
From the heart of Indiana, the Raj Parivar community came together to serve with compassion—showing up for neighbors through food relief, women’s empowerment, youth education, environmental care, and community drives. To get involved, connect with your local SRLC leaders! Food Relief Early in the year, families prepared 1,000 sandwiches for shelters, followed by another 1,100 lunch bags with fruit, milk, and snacks for children at the Boys and Girls Club. Simple meals, packed with love, carried dignity and care where they were needed most. Women’s Empowerment On Women’s Day, volunteers raised funds at the Nrityangan Kathak Academy Annual Showcase to support SRLC initiatives in Dharampur, India. Raj Uphaar stalls, cultural performances, and outreach booths spread awareness to hundreds, turning a celebration into sustained impact. Youth & Education Partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis, volunteers donated school supplies, equipping children with the tools to learn and thrive. Backpacks, notebooks, and pencils became stepping-stones to confidence and opportunity. Community Food Drive In November, the Diwali Food Drive collected thousands of pounds food for local shelters and the Boys and Girls Club, an effort recognized by the Indianapolis City Council President and powered by hundreds of small acts of generosity.
